Measure 3D Objects

To measure 3D objects, you need to have added layers with 3D data in your Workspace

1. Select and zoom into the 3D tile/layer from Workspace

2. Click on the Measure 3D Objects button

3. A Measurement window will open

Following units are available in gIQ: Meter/ Kilometer/ Feet/ Mile and Nautical Mile

4. With the control and scroll button on your mouse you can tilt the layer

To start using the measurement tool left click on the mouse and double left click to end the procedure.

5. In the Measurements window the result is displayed

You have the option to Clear all and/or Close the window. Your measurements will be automatically stored after closing the window.
